If you like live-edge wood, you'll love torn-edge ceramics. This is how trays and dishes grow naturally, before they are honed to perfection on the pottery wheel. This round tray with flowing tissue-like edges was glazed in satin black and organic beige over a canvas texture – turning blue at the overlap, and where a splatter of black is dripped onto the beige surface. My small 'm' stamp stands out on one side, painted a bright red.
Made by hand in Denver, CO with BMX from Rocky Mountain Clay, and food safe glaze. Dishwasher and microwave safe, but hand washing is always recommended.
