Lidded ramen bowl

Sold

The large bowl is great for ramen or pho, or your noodles/soup of choice – with a lid to keep things warm, or overturn on the table and use for toppings.

Large round-bottom ramen bowl with a wide rim and textured walls of glassy blues on browns. There's a deep foot ring at the base and a wide shallow lid that sits into the lip - also textured, and with a ring at the top for a handle.
The inside of the bowl has a ledge about an inch from the rim where the lid is able to sit. From the outside, that lip is the end of the smooth rim, and the start of a deep texturing.
The foot ring angles out and back in, making it easy to hold. There's glaze on the inside of the foot as well. The shallow lid is a wide shallow bowl when inverted.
The outer texture comes from overlapping carved rings around the piece, where the glaze pools in blues and breaks over the edges to coffee browns and lighter highlights.
The lid has a similar texture and glaze, also ending an inch or so from the rim - and a similar foot ring that is glazed on the inside.
Inside the bowl, the glaze pools in light blues along the ledge, highlighting the very edge with golden browns, and going blue again in the basin. There's a spray of lighter whites and blues from one side.
The inside of the lid is glazed to match the bowl, in organic blues that seem to float like crema on a coffee background.

The bowl itself is 4 inches tall, the lid alone is 2.25 inches, but together as a set they sit 5.5 inches off the table. There’s some small pin-holing, especially on the inside of the lid – but not enough that it will impact functionality if cleaned well.

Made by hand in Denver, CO with Speckled Brown Trout from Rocky Mountain Clay. Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
