Secret stash jar

1 in stock
Small jar with the lid leaning against the outside -- revealing a hint of bright speckled blue inside a gray textured and refined but unassuming jar.
With the lid on, the jar has clean lines -- pushing out slightly at the base, and then angling gently back in to an inset lip. The clay is raw with a slightly rough texture, but straight lines, gray with areas of toasty brown.
The walls of the jar have a slight rhythmic chattering that's visible when it catches the light. The lid is slab-like, with a beveled outer ring and inset top, and underneath it a locating flange that sticks into the jar about a half inch.
The underside has a similar beveled outer ring and inset base, revealing a blue speckled glaze that flares towards green at the outside. The inside of the lid has the same glaze hidden away.

Made by hand in Denver, CO with mix of clays (reclaim) from various sources. Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
