The porcelain provides a warm glow, or you can remove the lid for brighter room light. Fits a standard light bulb, though smaller bulbs often work as well.

white porcelain jar glowing amber from the inside. From the base it flares out and up like a honey pot, and then angles back in near the top, to an opening that matches the base. The side is textured in vertical chatter, and light is carved in an upright sort of slab cursive. The lid is on and also glowing. With the light off, the jar is white with subtle splashes of blue. With the lid off, the bulb comes almost to the rim. The rim is leaning against the side, and reaches most of the way to the angled shoulder of the jar. The lid is slab-like from the side, but has a locating flange inset. Turning on the lamp with the lid off, more light pours from the top of the jar.

Made by hand in Denver, CO with Frost from Laguna Clay Company. Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
