Raku bottle vases

Crackle raku vase A bottle with a flared base tinged blue-green from oxidized copper, a black-then-white swoop of bare clay on walls that slope in towards the neck, and then glossy white crackle glaze. The cracks have only blackened in very specific places – a circle near the base, a sliver along the shoulder, and around the head and rim of the bottle itself.
Obvara raku vase Bottle vase in organic sepia-like matte finish. The narrow base has a small vertical ring, before angling out in deep textured grooves that capture the toasty colors in relief - white highlights, and sepia grooves.
Obvara raku vase Bottle vase in organic sepia-like matte finish. It has a wide base that rounds back into the foot, holding it gently off the table. The walls are like a smeared-plaster, highlighted by the raku-burned toasty brown splatters. At the shoulder a darker ring, then white with subtle splashes as the form angles in to a narrow neck with a slightly flared bowl-like lip.
